I started working at Victoria Road Pre-School in January 2013. My 3 children attended here previous to this and I loved how the staff were friendly and caring.
I started to built up my qualifications in childcare then became SENCo then Deputy. In May 2017 I became the manager and had my first Ofsted inspection in 2018 when we were graded GOOD.
I'm always looking at how we can improve and give the best possible start to the children in our care. I feel very lucky to enjoy coming to work and watching our children grow and achieve new challenges then seeing them ready to move onto new adventures. Also, having a fantastic team around me makes a big difference.
I started working at Victoria Road Pre-School in September 2014 and started my childcare career working in a nursery as a assistant then qualifying as a nursery nurse. I have worked with all ages from babies to 5 year olds.
I love working at pre-school, we have a great team and there is a wonderful atmosphere where we encourage and support all children to perform to their full potential.
Being SENCo is such a rewarding job, watching the children overcome challenges and achieving goals.
My job can be challenging, however, also amazing and very rewarding to see a child's progress and also being there to support the parents and working together as a team.
